The First Week of Second Grade Was Great!

We have had a blast in second grade! We did a lot this week including: math review, practiced our school fire drill, we showed items from our "Me Bags," we read some of Mrs. HB's favorite books, we read about having first day jitters, we practiced rules and procedures, we took a tour around our school and classroom, and we practiced being the best second grade class at PHES! :)

First Day Jitters!

Wow! What a fantastic first day the HBees had today! We enjoyed touring our classroom and our school. We read the book First Day Jitters and wrote our own class book about first day jitters. We were introduced to Rocky the Cougar who will be traveling home with students every weekend. We also organized our supplies and went over our rules and procedures. The HBees are already off to a great start! I am looking forward to the rest of our year together! You can check out our classroom in the pictures below. :)

Welcome to Second Grade!

Welcome to second grade! We are The HBees at Pleasant Hill Elementary School where we are committed to preparing and honoring every student. Our class blog will be maintained by students and will act as an online journal to provide a glimpse into our classroom community.
