Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving feast with our class. The HBee's parents chipped in and made us all a wonderful table of yummy foods. We enjoyed spending time with our "school" family and talking about the very first Thanksgiving.

Cougar of the Week!

Miguel was our Cougar of the Week this week. We enjoyed learning more about Miguel this week. We learned that Miguel loves to read, especially any type of non-fiction book. He also loves to play with dinosaurs and has become a real dinosaur expert. Miguel is a wonderful student and we are so glad he is in our class!

Wobble Gobbles

Our class made Wobble Gobbles before Thanksgiving. We had a blast making these cute turkey cookies. :)

Weather Time

Henry Rothenberg from WLTX came to visit the PHES second grade students to talk to us about weather. He did a great job explaining difficult weather concepts, answering questions, and he showed us a very cool video of storm chasing. We enjoyed our time with Mr. Rothenberg and we were even on TV the next morning during his morning weather report! Thank you for visiting PHES, Mr. Rothenberg! Come back soon!

Happy Veteran's Day!

The HBees would like to wish all of the veterans a very Happy Veteran's Day! We are very thankful for your time and service to make sure we have freedom each and every day.

Cougar of the Week!

Trad was our Cougar of the Week this week. We enjoyed getting to know Trad better! Trad is such a sweet boy with lots of personality. We learned that he enjoys playing legos and spending time with his friends. He also loves to read Diary of a Whimpy Kid books! Thank you, Trad for being a great Cougar of the week!
